Global Celebration of Computer Science Education
As proud partners of Code.org, we organize an annual Hour of Code celebration every first week of December, visiting both mainstream and SEND schools to introduce learners to the joy of coding.
Activities Include:
- Hour-long guided coding activities tailored by age and ability
- Themed projects (e.g., creating a holiday animation, coding a mini-game, etc.)
- LEGO robotics challenges and unplugged STEAM games
- Stickers, and swag for every participant
- Group photos and video highlights shared with schools and families
Why It Matters:
- Helps demystify computer science for new learners
- Promotes equity in access to digital literacy
- Creates excitement around STEAM within school communities
